Buffalo Loam!

“ Home, home on the range…”

American bison, or buffalo, are having a good impact on our environment as they once again  roam the ranges of Colorado.  Buffalo Loam, the American Original, is made from 100% composted buffalo manure and is a 100% organic product.  It is made carefully in Northern Colorado’s Laramie River Valley.  It can be used as a soil amendment for outdoor plants, shrubs and trees.  It can also be used as a potting mix component, using one part compost to two parts potting soil.  It is excellent for house plants, flowering plants, vegetable seedlings and vegetable gardens.  As a plant food, you can simply apply a ¼-½ inch layer to the soil surface and water regularly.  Repeat the application every 2 to 3 months.

It is safe for humans, pets and the environment when used according to the directions.  It is deep brown in color with a fine texture.  It comes dry and fine in a convenient 8 pound bag.  It has an earthy, native aroma of the Wild West that is quite pleasant.  Locally produced wood shavings have been added to the manure and composted with it in addition to being aged for over a year.

Buffalo Loam Organic Plant Food Loose Compost Tea can be used with distilled or non-chlorinated water to make a fertilizing tea for your plants, indoor or outdoor.  The tea will boost your planting, repotting or transplanting efforts.  It comes in a handy, easy to handle 1.6 pound canister.  Seaweed and Mycorrhizac are added to the compost to help roots absorb nutrients more efficiently.  This product can be used to make your roses healthier and bloom more profusely.
